Frequently Asked Questions
General
What file formats are supported?
Currently, only CSV files are supported. Your CSV should have headers in the first row and no duplicate column names.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest (AES-256). We use enterprise-grade security and never sell or share your data. Your information stays yours.
Can I work offline?
The app caches recent data for offline viewing. Full functionality requires internet connection, but you can view cached dashboards offline. Sync happens automatically when you reconnect.
How do I delete my data?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data including datasets, dashboards, and account information.
Data & Dashboards
What is the maximum file size?
AnywhereBI supports large CSV files with efficient data processing and visualization capabilities.
Can I edit uploaded data?
You cannot edit individual cells, but you can apply transformations like filters, sorting, grouping, and calculated columns. These transformations are non-destructive and can be modified or removed.
How many dashboards can I create?
Dashboard limits vary by account tier. Check Settings → Account to see your current usage and limits.
Can I share dashboards?
Yes. Open any dashboard, tap the three-dot menu, and select Export. Choose PDF format to share via email, messages, or any sharing method your device supports.
AI Features
What AI models power AnywhereBI?
We use advanced language models including Claude and GPT for natural language understanding, insight generation, and dashboard creation.
How accurate is AI analysis?
AI provides insights based on statistical analysis and pattern recognition. Always review AI-generated insights and validate important findings. AI includes confidence scores and notes any limitations or assumptions.
Can AI create any type of dashboard?
AI works best when you provide clear descriptions of what you want to analyze. It considers your data structure, types, and patterns to select appropriate visualizations. More specific descriptions yield better results.
What if AI does not understand my question?
Try rephrasing your question with more context. Be specific about metrics, time periods, or categories. If you are asking about a specific dataset, make sure it is selected as context before asking.
Charts & Visualization
Why can I not select certain columns?
Some chart types require specific data types. For example, bar charts need categorical data for X-axis and numeric data for Y-axis. Check column data types in the dataset view.
How do I change chart colors?
Edit any chart, go to the Style tab, and select from 8 preset colors: Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Cyan, Purple, Red, or Light Green.
Can I reorder charts?
Yes. Open dashboard, enable edit mode, then use the up and down arrows next to each chart to reorder them.
Why is my chart empty?
Check that: (1) Your dataset has data, (2) Selected columns exist and have values, (3) Aggregation type is appropriate, (4) No filters are excluding all data.
Performance
Why is my dashboard loading slowly?
Large datasets or complex aggregations may take longer. Try: (1) Filtering data to reduce rows, (2) Using server-side aggregation, (3) Checking your internet connection.
How is data stored?
Data is stored in Supabase PostgreSQL database with local SQLite caching for offline access. Charts cache aggregated results for 5 minutes to improve performance.
Troubleshooting
My CSV upload failed. What should I do?
Ensure: (1) File is valid CSV format, (2) First row contains headers, (3) No duplicate column names, (4) File size is under limits, (5) You have internet connection.
Charts show wrong data after transformation
Transformations create a processing pipeline. Check transformation steps in your dataset. You may need to refresh charts or verify column mappings are still valid.
I can not see my uploaded dataset
Try: (1) Pull down to refresh Data screen, (2) Check internet connection, (3) Verify upload completed successfully, (4) Check if dataset was archived.
